Andree Chevrier Simmons, age 88, of Washburn, TN went to be with her Lord and Savior, peacefully with her family by her side at North Knox Medical Center on June 27, 2015 at 1:25 pm. She was born in Pont St. Pierre, France on June 23, 1927. She came to America when she was 18 years old to marry her sweetheart Sidney Simmons. They were married 56 wonderful years until Sidney’s death in 2003. She was a loving wife, world’s best mother to her children, wonderful grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, loving mother-in-law and loved by so many. We were blessed to have her as our mother. She was a godly mother who devoted her life to her husband and family. We thank God for wonderful precious times we spent with her. She was a longtime member of Central View American Christian Church in Washburn, TN. She accepted the Lord as her Savior when she was a young woman in her twenties. She loved the Lord with all her heart. The family would like to thank so many good friends and neighbors who helped her so many times. This was a heartwarming blessing to our family. We also want to thank her cancer doctor at the Cancer Center in Powell, Dr. Hesamm Gharavi and his staff for helping her through this difficult time.
