Andrea Huerta, of Knoxville, passed away on January 21, 2017 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. She was born on July 31, 1997 in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, the daughter of Jesus and Carolina (Oliva) Huerta. She attended Knox County Schools and graduated from Fulton High School in 2015, where she was adored by staff and student alike. She was currently working at the Cancun restaurant in halls. Andrea is survived by her parents Jesus and Carolina of Knoxville; her brother Jesus Jr. of Knoxville and her twin brother Humberto of Knoxville. She also leaves her maternal grandmother, Elodia Ocampo Martinez of Los Angeles, California. She is survived by her aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends. Andrea was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Guadalupe and Refugio Huerta of Tacotlan, Mexico, and her maternal grandfather, Manuel Aliva Alatorre of San Antonio De Los Vasquezk, Mexico. Rosary service will be held 6pm Friday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Family and friends will meet 10:45am Saturday New Gray Cemetery for 11am graveside service.
