Alma Louise Henry

Alma Louise Henry gained her heavenly wings at home surrounded by family on October 18^th, 2023. She was 91 years old. She was a lifetime member of Clear Springs Baptist Church. Alma was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother (Mamaw).

Alma spent much of her life gardening, devotedly caring for her many grandchildren, and cheering for the Tennessee Volunteers on Saturdays. Alma “Mamaw” will always be remembered for her fiery spirit and the great love she exuded to everyone she ever met.

Alma is survived by her daughter and caregiver Sherri Cooper; two sons: Donnie Jones and Wayne Jones; eleven grandchildren: Christy Johnson, Randy Jones, Greg Jones, Tammy Breeding, Tim Jones, Amiee Coffey, Michael Jones, Justin Effler, Scott Effler, Brandon Effler, and Shay Effler; nineteen great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Alma is also survived by her sister, Margie Welch.

Alma is preceded in death by her mother and father: Hazel and Zack Henry; her son Ronnie Jones; and five brothers and sisters: Roy Henry, George Henry, Mary Henry (Daniels), Harvey Henry, and Jim Henry.

Surrounded by the enduring love of our family and friends, we are honored to have Justin Effler, Scott Effler, Brandon Effler, Matthew Effler, Parker Effler, and Tony Johnson serve as pallbearers. Together they carry with them not just the weight of a casket, but the cherished memories of a life well-lived.

The family will have a private graveside service with Randy Jones officiating.
