Alaina "Simone" Cantrell

Alaina “Simone” Cantrell (Granny), age 63 of Knoxville, passed away January 15, 2021. Simone retired from Lakeshore Mental Health Institution and was proud of her time spent working with veterans. She enjoyed camping, hiking, and white-water kayaking. She is preceded in death by her husband; Bill Cantrell, daughter; Autumn “Brandi” Strader, mother and father; Mae and Bill Gregg, and brother; Ronnie Gregg. She leaves behind her grandchildren; Chelsea Strader (Kyle Ellis), Kirkland Strader, Cameron Strader (Ashlee), son-in-law; Johnny Strader, great-grandchildren (the center of her world); Brody, Chandler, Maverick, Kinzleigh, Kingston and Kinnalyn, sisters and brothers; Nonah Crookshank, Lonnie Gregg, Roger Gregg, Kay Freeland and Sheila Cook, special friends; Georgia West, Steve Vorhees, as well as many friends she made along the way.
