Mullins, Aileen (Daniels), age 85, passed away early Monday morning on July 1, 2013 after a long battle with Alzheimers. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and a friend to all who knew her. She retired from the Standard Knitting Mills and was a long-time member of Salem Baptist Church in the Halls community. Preceded in death by her parents, Grant and Zetta Daniels; husband, John W. Mullins; son, Johnny L. Mullins; and sister-in-law, Inge Daniels. Survived by and will be greatly missed by her daughter Sandra (Mullins) Ford and husband Bud Ford; Grandchildren Julie (Ford) Shinlever and husband Morgan; Brent Ford and finance Katie Nsairy; great-grandson, Davis Ford Shinlever; brother Floyd Daniels; nephew Mark Daniels and family; and life-long friend Lucille Lockhart. The family is so thankful for the wonderful care she received while living at Windsor Gardens Assisted Living and also for the compassionate and special care received from Tennova Residential Hospice. The receiving of friends will be Wednesday, July 3, 2013 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with funeral service to follow, Reverend John Holland officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am Friday, July 5, 2013 at Ft. Sumter Community Cemetery for interment at 11:00 am.
