Agnes Louise Welch

Agnes Louise Welch went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, October 26, 2024.  She was surrounded by her family.  

She is proceeded in death by her mother and father, Lon and Pearl Breeden; her first husband, Ralph Loveday; her sisters, Mary Ann Simerly and Debbie Dyer.  

Agnes leaves behind her loving husband of 45+ years, Archie Welch; her children, Mandy (Jeff) Smith, Norma (Charlie) Pack, James (Jama) Loveday, Ralph (Patti), and Joy (Glenn) Dukes; her stepchildren, Angie (Chuck) Goosie, and Eddie Welch.  She also leaves behind 21 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Bill (Willa Mae) Breeden, Larry (Edwina) Breeden, Pete (Sandy) Breeden, Pat (Troy) Butler, Carmen Dixon, and Jennie Lynn Morgan; and a host of nieces and nephews.    

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 28, 2024 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel.  Archie Dukes officiating.  

We will meet at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 12:15 pm for a procession to Fort Sumter Community Cemetery (4648 Salem Church Road, Knoxville, TN 37938) for a 1:00 pm graveside service.

The family would like to express a sincere thank you to Smokey Mountain Hospice.  We appreciate the love, kindness and care that was shown to our family.
