Beeler, Agnes Marcella Clapp, age 90, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord Thursday, September 26, 2013. She was born February 17, 1923 in the Graveston Community and was the oldest living member of Graveston Baptist Church. Mrs. Beeler had worked at the Standard Knitting Mill and was retired from Knox County where she worked in the County Clerk and Sherriff’s office for more than 20 years. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, John M. Beeler. She was also preceded in death by parents Ion and Edna Clapp, brothers George (Ross), James, and Chester Clapp, and sister Geneva Butler. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Richard and Judy Beeler, grandsons Richie and Mark (Gail) Beeler, great-grandsons Matthew and Zachary Beeler, brother David (Red) Clapp, sisters Willie Lester and Ina Clapp, as well as many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews. Funeral service will be 6 PM Sunday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with Rev. Todd Clapp, Rev. Mark Kitts, and Richie Beeler officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:15 AM Monday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City to proceed to Graveston Cemetery for interment at 11 AM. The family will receive friends 4-6 PM Sunday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City.
