Agnes J. Hill

Agnes Butler Hill of Knoxville passed away quietly on Friday August 11, 2017. She was a member of Clear Springs Baptist Church in Corryton. She loved time spent with family especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling with her senior group who loved to dance. She was preceded in death by her parents Lawson and Nora Henry Butler; husband Burney L. Hill; sister, Viva Mae Cooper; and brother Theodore “Cowboy” Butler. She is survived by daughter, Cindy (David) Treadway; son, Steven (Deborah) Hill; grandchildren, Randi (Mike) Luttrell, John (Maggie) Hill, and Adam (Olivia) Hill; great-grandson, Logan and another great-grandson expected in 2 weeks; special friends, Tommy Edmonds, Jaunita Acuff, and Lettie Wright. Visitation for Agnes Butler Hill will be from 5-7pm Monday August 14, 2017 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel 2829 Rennoc Rd Knoxville, TN with a service to follow at 7pm. Officiating the service will be Chaplain Dan Hix and Chaplain Mike Mikels. Family will meet at 9:45am in Lynhurst Cemetery for a 10am interment Tuesday.
