Agnes Earleen Hipsher (née Robinson) peacefully passed away at her home on May, 6 2024 in Knoxville, TN at the age of 94. She was born on May,1 1930 in Midway, TN. Earleen was known for her loving caring nature, adventurous spirit, outgoing personality, and witty sense of humor. She had a great love for travel and was gracious in all her endeavors. Earleen was a 1948 graduate of Rule High School. She worshipped at Northwest Church of God and enjoyed volunteering at her church. Her hobbies included traveling with her family and reading. Earleen will be deeply missed by all who knew her, including her church family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who love her.
Earleen was preceded in death by her loving husband, Melvin F. Hipsher, her parents; Herbert and Ellen Robinson, brother; Archie Robinson, sister; Myrl Jinks, and daughter; Pamela Judd.
Earleen is survived by her children; Gail Hipsher, Larry and Vicky Hipsher, Roger and Suzanne Hipsher, and Scott Hipsher, as well as her grandchildren; Kelli, Kasey, Courtney, Kari, Jessica, Lori, Jeremy, Tyler, Maleah, and Isaac. She also has nine great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandaughter. She is survived by her sister; Jean Ward.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 10, 2024 from 6:00-7:00PM at Northwest Church of God, with a service to follow at 7:00PM, officiated by Pastor John Wilkenson. Family and friends will meet at Highland Memorial Cemetery on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 2:45PM for a 3:00PM interment. The pallbearers are Eddie Christopher, Chris Powers, Joseph Swatzell, George Ryan, Spencer Hurd, Isaac Hipsher, and Tyler Hipsher(Honorary). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Northwest Church of God, 5320 Pleasant Ridge Rd, Knoxville, TN 37912. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel.
