Addie Jeanette Simpson

Addie “Jeanette” Simpson, age 100 years and 6 months, of Knoxville passed away Monday, January 10, 2022. Oldest member of Alice Bell Baptist Church. She was an avid doll collector. She is preceded in death by parents, Roy Lee and Nellie Mae Dalton; husband, Charles W. Simpson Sr.; grandchild, Tammy Lynn Emmitt; siblings, Dorothy Mikel, Pearl Cooper, Leroy Dalton, Mary Evelyn Browning, Clarence Dalton, Kay Hundley and Gary Dalton; and daughter-in-law, Martha C. Simpson. She is survived by sons, Charles W. Simpson and Donald (Martha L.) Simpson; grandchildren, Mark Simpson, Donna (Chris) Tate and Steven (Melanie) Simpson; great-grandchildren, Jessica Uphofl, Misty Simpson, Conner Culver, Alexa Culver, Emma Simpson, Caroline Simpson and Morgan Tate; great-great-grandchild, Levi; siblings, Mildred Cardwell, Ann Vance, Marjorie Pipes, Shirley Cardwell, Ella Brock, Charles Dalton and Richard Dalton; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
