Ada Weaver Townsend

Ada Weaver Townsend, age 73, of Oak Ridge, passed away Friday August 5, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. Preceded in death by parents Theodopolis and Ethel Weaver; siblings David Floyd, Howard Weaver, Dulia Taylor, and Carl Weaver. Survived by children Robert (Jaclyn) McDonald, Rita Brown, Paul (Cindy) Farmer, Missy (Michael) Garren, Kimberly Byrd, and Mandy (Charles) Scarbrough; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-greatgrandchildren; sister Ella Hazel; several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Service will be 8pm Wednesday Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, Pastor Dennis Blazier officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45am Thursday at Bethel-Lynch Cemetery for 11am interment. Family will receive friends 6-8pm Wednesday Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel.
