Alvis “A.D.” Earl, age 77, of Knoxville went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 6, 2021. He was a member of Massachusetts Church of God and he was an avid UT Sports Fan. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents Alvin and Lula Earl. He is survived by loving wife of 28 years Sharon (Griffin) Earl, Daughters; Cindi (Dewayne) Cupp, Tonya (Reese) Stansberry, Amanda (Justin) Inman, Victoria Griffin, 9 Grandkids, Sister; Sally Davis, Brother; Eulas Earl, Several nieces and nephews, and best friend and brother at heart Dennis “Dink” Goforth. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00pm Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel, followed by a 7:00pm Funeral Service. Pastor Joe Harris officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:00am Friday, February 12, 2021 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City, to leave in procession for an 11:00am Graveside Service at East View Memorial Gardens.
